Where are you situated?
Home from Home is set in the beautiful surroundings of Orrisdale in Kirk Michael. We are away from traffic and with an abundance of country walks on our doorstep.
What do i need to bring?
You will need to provide enough food for your dog’s stay and any treats, chews etc that are part of your dog’s diet.
We are also happy for you to bring along your dog’s bed, any favourite toys, in fact anything that will make your dog feel at home.
Please also bring an up to date vaccination certificate.
Can you give medication to my dog?
Medication is a common request and we are happy to administer any medication that has been prescribed.
How much does it cost?
The price is £20 per dog per day.
Puppies under 6 months old £22 per day.
Christmas day, Boxing day and New years day are charged at double rate.
Are you approved by the Government Vet?
Yes.
We are licensed and inspected by the Government Vet annually
Are there any dogs that you cannot take?
We do not take dogs that cannot live happily with other animals.
We cannot take uncastrated male dogs over 9 months old or bitches in season.
Do you provide any other pet care services?
No we focus 100% on providing the best care possible for doggie guests only.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. We ask that your dog is up to date with his/her annual vaccinations and is on an effective flea and worm treatment.
While I’m away, can I contact you to see how my dog is?
Yes. We often receive phone calls and texts and we will be happy to let you know how your dog is getting along.
We also provide holiday photos on your dog's first visit of 4 days or more.
How do I book?
Before we are able to accept a booking you will need to contact us to arrange a consultation visit.
This gives you the opportunity to meet us and for us to meet you and your dog.
During your visit we can discuss the level of care you need.
It also allows us to discuss your dogs habits, food requirements, medical history, exercise routine etc.
